For Oatmeal Bake:
2large eggs
2cupsmilk
¼cupbuttermelted
¼cuppure maple syrup
¼cupbrown sugarpacked
2teaspoonsvanilla extract
3cupsold-fashion oats
2teaspoonsbaking powder
2teaspoonsground cinnamon
½teaspoonsalt
For Glaze:
½cuppowdered sugar
2-3teaspoonsmilk
Instructions
In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, melted butter, maple syrup, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.
Add the rolled oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt to the wet mixture. Stir until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
Pour the oatmeal mixture into a lightly greased 9x13-inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
Bake it at 350°F for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the oatmeal is set.
While the oatmeal bake is cooling slightly, make the glaze. With a fork, mix the powdered sugar and milk. The glaze should be thick but drizzable. Then, drizzle the glaze over the warm oatmeal bake before serving.
