Ingredients

For Oatmeal Bake:

  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • ¼ cup butter melted
  • ¼ cup pure maple syrup
  • ¼ cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups old-fashion oats
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon salt

For Glaze:

  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 2-3 teaspoons milk

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, melted butter, maple syrup, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Add the rolled oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt to the wet mixture. Stir until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
  • Pour the oatmeal mixture into a lightly greased 9x13-inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  • Bake it at 350°F for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the oatmeal is set.
  • While the oatmeal bake is cooling slightly, make the glaze. With a fork, mix the powdered sugar and milk. The glaze should be thick but drizzable. Then, drizzle the glaze over the warm oatmeal bake before serving.
  • Serve by itself, or with fresh or frozen berries. Enjoy!
