Apple Dump Cake

Yellow cake mix mixed with melted butter and then sprinkled on caramel syrup and apple filling make a delicious and seriously easy apple dump cake! With only four ingredients this dessert proves that simple is best!

Ingredients

  • 1 box Yellow Cake Mix (about 15.25 oz.)
  • 42 ounces apple pie filling (2 cans of 21 ounces each) Brand name is better!
  • ½ cup butter (1 stick) melted
  • ½ cup caramel syrup

Instructions

  • Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray. In the baking dish evenly spread out the two cans of apple pie filling.
  • Next, drizzle the caramel syrup on top of the pie filling.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the yellow cake mix and melted butter with a fork breaking apart any large clumps. Then evenly crumble this across the pie filling and caramel syrup.
  • Bake the apple dump cake at 350° Fahrenheit for 30 minutes until the dish is hot, bubbly, and the tops browning. Serve warm with a dollop of cool whip or scoop of ice cream! Enjoy!
