24ouncesfrozen green beans
4ouncesbacon, dicedor 4 slices plus more for garnish
1small onionchopped
½cupketchup
¼cupbrown sugar
1tablespoonWorcestershire sauce
Instructions
In a skillet, fry the bacon until crispy. Drain off all but one tablespoon of grease. Then, saute the onions until wilted and browned. Remove from heat.
Mix the ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce until well combined.
Add your drained green beans to the bottom of a slow cooker. Then, top the green beans with the sauce, cooked bacon, and onions.
Cook on low for 2 hours, then gently stir to combine the green beans with the sauce, bacon, and onions. Finally, cook on low for an additional 1-2 hours. Enjoy!
