Ingredients

  • 1 loaf frozen bread dough
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • ½ cup chopped pecans optional

Instructions

  • Remove the frozen bread from the freezer and let it thaw for at least 45 minutes. Then cut it into 48-64 little pieces. (They do not have to be even pieces.)
  • Grease a bundt pan with cooking spray and spread out the chopped pecans on the bottom.
  • Mix up the brown sugar and cinnamon in a medium bowl. Then take the cut up bread pieces, roll them in the cinnamon sugar mixture, and place them evenly in the bundt pan on top of the chopped pecans. Pour the remaining cinnamon sugar on top of the bread dough.
  • In a small bowl mix together the melted butter and maple syrup. Drizzle it in a circle over the bread dough making sure to get the sides of the pan covered.
  • Let the monkey bread rise overnight. (You can rise the monkey bread in a 100°F oven or on bread proof for around 4 hours.) Then, in the morning, bake the overnight monkey bread at 350°F for 30 minutes. Once baked, invert(or flip) the bread out of the bundt pan into a larger pie pan or serving tray. Serve immediately and warm! Enjoy!
