Servings 48 1" cookie dough balls

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • cups light brown sugar packed
  • 1 cup salted butter softened at room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • First, bake or heat up flour to kill pathogens and bacteria. Place the 2 cups of flour on a rimmed baking sheet and bake in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 10 minutes. Make sure the flour reaches 165 degrees then remove it from the oven, and let it cool completely.
If you don't have an oven you can microwave the flour on a plate with 30-second intervals until the flour reaches 165 degrees F.
Then, if needed, use a whisk to break up the flour once cool.
  • Next, in a stand mixer, cream together the softened butter and light brown sugar. Then add the salt, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  • Next gradually mix in the flour, stirring occasionally and scraping the sides as you go. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  • For single-serving snacks use a 1" cookie dough scoop and scoop cookie dough balls an inch apart on a large parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Freeze for at least 1 hour and then place dough balls in an air-tight container and store in the refrigerator(up to 2 weeks) or freezer(up to 3 months). Enjoy!
