Delicious and fun Froot Loops coated in melted marshmallows for a easy cereal bar recipe spin-off of the classic Rice Krispies treats.

12-15 ounces Froot Loops cerealOr off-brand Fruit Rounds
20ouncesmini marshmallows2-10 ounce bags
½cupsalted butter
1teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
Measure out the Foot Loops and put them in a large mixing bowl.
In a large saucepan, melt the butter on low heat. Stir in the vanilla extract once the butter is melted. Then add the mini marshmallows in increments to the butter, continuously stirring them until they melt down. I add one full bag of marshmallows first and then slowly add more as they melt.
Once the marshmallows are melted into a smooth mixture, pour them into the Froot Loops cereal and gently stir them until all cereal is coated. Then gently press the treats into a lightly greased 9×13 baking dish with the back of a spatula. These will be more sticky than our regular Rice Krispies Treats, but the extra effort is worth it! (Do NOT firmly press these, or your bars will be dense and hard to eat.) Let them cool for at least 30 minutes. Cut into serving size and Enjoy!
