8 ½cupsCheerios

¾cupKaro, light corn syrup
¾cupbrown sugar
½teaspoon salt

Measure the 8 1/2 cups of Cheerios in a large bowl and lightly grease a 9x13 dish with cooking spray. Set these both aside.
Then, melt the butter in a saucepan on low to medium heat. Once the butter is melted, add in the corn syrup, brown sugar, and salt. Stir these constantly until the edges start to boil, then immediately remove the pan from heat. Then stir in the creamy peanut butter. *Pro Tip* Be careful not to over boil the Karo and sugar because the more the light corn syrup boils, the harder the cereal bars will set up. They will still be delicious but hard to chew.
Pour the peanut butter mixture over the Cheerios and gently stir until all cheerios are coated. Then evenly spread the Cheerios into a 9x13 pan, and press them into the pan using parchment paper or the back of the spatula. Let cool for at least 2 hours before serving. Cut the Cheerios into bars and serve.
