Ingredients
2pounds ground beef
salt, pepper, Lawry's Seasoned Saltto taste
Instructions
In a foil-lined 10x15 inch rimmed sheet pan or baking sheet, evenly press down the ground beef to fill the entire pan. (Once cooked, the meat will shrink leaving about a 1-2" gap around the entire pan.) Then season the beef to taste.
Next, bake the beef at 425°F for 12-15 minutes until it's cooked through. Carefully remove the baked beef, let it sit for a minute to reabsorb some of the juices, and then slowly drain off the remaining grease. Add slice cheese and melt it in the warm oven for just a minute. Then cut your hamburgers to size. Garnish the burgers with any favorite condiments, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and red onion if desired, and enjoy!
Notes
If you are using only 1 pound of ground beef, use an 8x8 inch pan or only press the beef down in half of the 10"x15" sheet pan.
