Taco Hashbrown Casserole

A delicious casserole made with taco meat, shredded hash browns, and cheddar cheese, baked to perfection - this is our family's favorite Taco Hashbrown Casserole recipe! Great reheated, this recipe is also great for meal prep lunches!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon minced, dried onion
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 26 ounces fresh or frozen hash browns
  • 10.5 ounces cheddar cheese soup
  • 1 ounce taco seasoning 1 packet
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F and lightly grease a 9x13 baking dish.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with garlic powder, minced onion powder, black pepper, and salt until no longer pink. Drain off the excess fat.
  • In a large bowl, mix the frozen hash browns, taco seasoning, ground beef, cheddar cheese soup, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Add the mixture to the baking dish, spread evenly, and top with the remaining shredded cheese.
    Bake the Taco Hashbrown Casserole for 25-30 minutes uncovered. Top with sour cream, salsa, or your favorite taco toppings. Enjoy!
