How to Make Cookies and Cream Popcorn with Oreos
This is a fun snack to make! And, with only 3 ingredients, it doesn’t take a lot of time. From watching the popping of popcorn, crushing cookies, and being an amateur chocolate tier, this cookies and cream popcorn recipe is a creative dessert that can be customized to every personality!
Ingredients for Popcorn with Crushed Oreos
- 1/2 cup popcorn kernels, popped or 10-12 cups of popped popcorn
- This is 2-3 bags of microwave popcorn.
- 1 cup crushed Oreo cookies, about 10 cookies
- Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs with a food processor, blender, or by hand.
- The sky’s the limit here! Pick your favorite Oreo flavors and make a customized popcorn treat!
- 4 ounces almond bark, or white chocolate melts
- Almond bark is a type of candy coating flavored with vanilla. It creates a smooth, glossy finish that’s fast drying, making it perfect for cookie and cream popcorn.
- Salt
- Everything sweet needs a little salt. A sprinkle of salt on top draws out the sweetness of the cookies and candy coating. Salt enhances and balances sweet elements so they are not overpowering.
