Why We Love BBQ and Grape Jelly Little Smokies

Great Warm Appetizer: Warm appetizers are so welcomed in the winter, making little smokies a great Christmas, New Year’s, and game-day snack!

Kid-Friendly Party Side: Little Smokies (like hot dogs) are familiar to kids. The protein keeps them full, and not just eating a bunch of junk.

Sweet and Savory: The flavor combination is on point! These little smokies are sweeter thanks to the grape jelly, with a side of tangy BBQ.

ONLY 3-Ingredient Appetizer: It doesn’t get much easier to make a party dish than this!

Tips and Tricks for the BEST Little Smokies

Adjust the sauces to taste. If you want a sweeter smokie, add more grape jelly. If you want a tangier taste, have more BBQ sauce than jelly. Add some chili powder for spice. Add a Tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce for more depth of flavor, if desired.

Once cooked, keep the slow cooker on warm. These 3-ingredient little smokies keep well for hours; do not overcook them. Turn your slow cooker to warm once cooked.

Leftovers are great. Serve these little smokies over rice or with mashed potatoes and corn for a quick meal idea.

Store little smokies in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Reheat through in the microwave or over the stove in a skillet.
