Packed full of cheese and pepperoni, these fluffy and light Pull Apart Pizza Muffins made from biscuits make the perfect easy dinner main or fun appetizer!

Sometimes you just need to switch it up but without scaring your family. Haha! This pull apart pizza muffin recipe has all that great pizza flavor but in a fun new way that the whole family can love. And you get to dip them in your favorite marinara or pasta sauce too! Who can’t get behind dipping sauce?!?!

  • Pull apart pizza muffins are a great dish for lunch, dinner, and snacks alike. They are an amazing easy gameday option too!
  • They are surprisingly filling. My husband ate around 3 or 4 for a meal with a light side.
  • They are great with an easy side salad or fresh fruits and veggies. We love easy meals!
  • Pizza muffins are super easy to reheat as quick lunch and snack options too. Try keeping them warm in a crock pot for parties too!

Pizza Muffins Recipe with Grands Biscuits

This quick pull apart pizza muffins recipe can be easily customized to dietary needs or to incorporate your favorite pizza toppings so don’t be afraid to experiment. This recipe feeds a crowd so it’s easy to split the batch into different pizza flavors and please all your guests.

Ingredients for Pizza Muffins

16 Grands biscuits

1/3 cup olive oil

2 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 Tablespoons chopped basil

5 oz sliced pepperoni, coarsely chopped

  • Mini Pepperoni would work as well!

optional other pizza toppings

The ingredients for pull apart pizza muffins: Grands biscuits, olive oil, pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, chopped basil, and parmesan cheese.

Pull Apart Pizza Muffins Directions

First, open your biscuits and cut each biscuit into 4 pieces with a pizza cutter or scissors. Then place them in a large bowl and coat them with olive oil.

Then, add the coarsely chopped pepperoni, shredded mozzarella cheese, grated parmesan, and chopped basil. Mix well.

  • The rest of the ingredients on top of the greased biscuits.
  • A bowl of all the ingredients mixed together to make the muffin mix for this easy dinner or snack of pull apart pizza muffins.

Lightly grease the muffin tin with cooking spray. Then fill each spot with around 3-4 biscuit pieces and pizza mixture.

Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 20-25 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.

Remove them from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve them with marinara or pasta sauce for dipping! Enjoy!

How to Store Pizza Muffins

Store the leftover pizza muffins in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.

How to Reheat Pizza Muffins

Place muffins on a paper towel or plate and microwave for about 20 seconds for a single muffin or 30 seconds for three muffins.
