- cooking spray
- 1 cup salted butter, 2 sticks, melted and cooled slightly
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- Sugar will be divided later.
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups flour
- Measure flour correctly by spooning it into your measuring cup or by weighing it on a scale.
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cream of tartar
- dash of salt
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
