When I learned how to pan-fry a tender and juicy chicken breast, I wanted to scream it from the rooftops. Good chicken is a game-changer! It makes every meal exceptional and every salad amazing. Our family enjoys this chicken with simple sides, too, like our Sweet and Simple Parmesan Salad and warm roasted vegetables like broccoli or green beans. Let this pan-fried chicken steal the show and your hearts!

How to Make the BEST Pan-Fried Chicken Breasts

This recipe is fantastic! It does take 25-30 minutes, but most of the time, you set a timer and forget it! Don’t let pan-frying chicken scare you again! Trust the process and use this easy recipe for the best pan-fried chicken!

Cut in half tender and juicy chicken breast.

Ingredients for Pan-Fried Chicken Breast

  • 2-3 Tablespoons oil
    • We use avocado oil because of its high smoke point, but you can also use extra virgin olive oil.
  • 2-4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
    • Trim off the fat, and let’s go!
  • Super Bird Poultry blend seasoning
    • I have fallen in love with this seasoning blend! It’s a warm and zesty blend of brown sugar, garlic, paprika, oregano, and lemon. Worth a try! However, this recipe is less about the seasoning(Use your favorite or google something simple like this) and more about making the best tender and juicy chicken breasts of your life!

Kitchen Equipment We Recommend

I was tired of constantly buying PAM cooking spray and wondering if we were running low. Then, we would always be out at the worst times(Sunday morning brunch), and I wanted to stop the waste of throwing away the cooking spray cans. This Oil Sprayer from Amazon is perfect! It creates a light mist for non-stick cooking and a pour spout for measurements. Once it’s empty, refill it with your oil of choice!

We currently use this KitchenAid Ceramic Aluminum Nonstick Frying Pan and a random lid. You will need a lid for this recipe!

Instructions for the BEST Pan-Fried Chicken Breasts

First, season your chicken breast well by patting the seasoning on both sides of the chicken until it is fully covered.

Dry rub seasoning on two chicken breasts.

In a 10-inch skillet or larger, drizzle 2-3 Tablespoons of oil and put the pan on the stove over medium heat. Once the skillet is heated, add your seasoned chicken breasts; DO NOT touch them. Fry them for 5 minutes on that side. Set a timer.

Great Meals Your Family will LOVE

My family loves these Classic Tuna Noodle Casserole and Easy Egg Salad recipes, both of which are meat-free. The tuna noodle casserole is tuna, mushrooms, and egg noodles in a cream sauce topped with homemade buttery croutons. It’s the perfect warm main dish for dinner. Our easy egg salad recipe is light, refreshing, and full of flavor. It’s a healthy lunch idea that doesn’t weigh you down.

This Homemade Mac and Cheese recipe is divine! It’s cheesy with a hint of mustard. It is the perfect blend of flavors and pairs well with simple meat and veggie sides.

Our Sausage Tortellini Bake is tender tortellini coated in a creamy alfredo and spaghetti sauce, mixed with ground sausage, and topped with a mixture of melted cheeses. It’s excellent with simple salads like our Sweet and Simple Parmesan Salad and breadsticks!
