My family LOVES these little bites of heaven! By marrying our favorite desserts, cookie dough and cheesecake, we made a dessert that literally disappears from our counters.

Chocolate Chip Cookie and Cream Cheese Bars

This four-ingredient dessert recipe is quick to make and perfect for a budding baker. It less than 10 minutes to assemble, then bake and cool for a fun and super yummy dessert! Chocolate chip cheesecake cookie bars are quick and easy to make!

Ingredients

  • 2 – 16.5 ounce tubes of chocolate chip cookie dough
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
Ingredients for chocolate chip cheesecake cookie bars: Cookie dough, cream cheese, sugar, and an egg.

Directions

First, lightly spray the 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking oil. Then spread out and flatten 1 and 1/4 tubes of cookie dough on the entire bottom of the pan.

**If you need more dough, you can borrow up to an extra 1/4 of a tube.

Step one: Flatten chocolate chip cookie dough into bottom of a baking pan.

Next, in a medium mixing bowl, cream the cream cheese, sugar, and egg together. Spread the cheesecake batter on the cookie dough in the baking pan.

  • Cream cheese, sugar and egg in a bowl ready to be creamed.
  • Creamed together cheesecake batter in a bowl.

Now crumble and sprinkle the remaining cookie dough on top of the cheesecake batter. Keeping the dough cold will result in less mess. Try to embrace the process!
