This Peanut Butter Chocolate Rice Krispies Marshmallow Brownies recipe is a dessert mash-up of fudgy brownies, a layer of soft marshmallows, and a topping of peanut-butter-and-chocolate-infused Rice Krispies. This is a loaded brownie recipe that delivers on chocolate flavor and great textures!

This might be the longest recipe name for brownies, but it’s 3 simple layers:
- Brownies: The dessert uses a classic 9×13-in pan box brownie mix. Make per the instructions on the back of the box (minus a couple of minutes of baking time) and don’t overthink it.
- Marshmallows: Mini marshmallows are the middle layer. Sprinkle them over the almost-done brownies and let them melt slightly.
- Rice Krispies: Melt the butter, peanut butter, and chocolate carefully together over the stove or in the microwave. Then mix in the Rice Krispies and gently spread them over the softened marshmallows.

Cool the dish completely, cut, and enjoy! These loaded brownies with marshmallows are perfect for BBQs, family gatherings, potlucks, and camping trips. They are best shared and enjoyed by all!
This is a fun layered dessert that our family loves! It has all our favorite flavors and is a chocolate lover’s dream. And even if you don’t like one thing all that much, the balance between the layers of soft and crunchy and sweet and savory is perfect. It definitely gives off Scotcheroos vibes with the chocolate-and-peanut-butter Rice Krispies topping (although it’s missing the butterscotch chips). Then there’s the soft middle marshmallow layer that offers chewability. Lastly, the classic brownies on the bottom keep this dessert grounded in chocolate fudge goodness, keeping these Fudgy Peanut Butter Marshmallow Krispie Brownies a dessert everyone can love!

Half of this recipe is baked box brownies, followed by a quick layer of softened marshmallows, and the second half is no-bake peanut butter and chocolate Rice Krispies. This Peanut Butter Chocolate Rice Krispies Marshmallow Brownies recipe is simple steps that result in amazing flavors!
(It is also the recipe I give my kids to see if they can read and follow directions. Even with minor missteps, the results are hard to mess up.)

Instructions for Loaded Krispies and Marshmallow Brownies
First, prepare the box brownie mix by following the directions on the back of the box. Then bake it according to the directions.

Then, with two minutes of bake time left, remove the brownies from the oven and spread out the mini marshmallows in an even layer on top of the hot brownies. Bake the brownies for the remaining two minutes, watching the marshmallows melt. Remove them from the oven and let the pan cool completely.

Next, prepare the Rice Krispies layer. In a microwave-safe bowl, add the butter, peanut butter, and chocolate chips. Microwave them on high for 30 seconds, stir, then repeat until the mixture is smooth and everything is melted through.

Add in the rice cereal and gently stir until it’s all coated. Then spoon the mixture onto the marshmallow-topped brownies and spread it out as evenly as possible.

Let the brownies cool in the refrigerator for at least 1-3 hours. Then cut and enjoy!

How to Store these Chocolate Krispie Marshmallow Brownies
Because they have a chocolate topping, these layered brownies need to not melt. They store well, covered, on the counter in a cool environment. If the house is warm or it’s outside in summer(hot), expect it to melt. I recommend storing them in the refrigerator if needed.
