There’s really nothing to this recipe. Simply gather your cake mix, egg, water, oil, and sprinkles together. Mix them all up in a bowl until just incorporated. Use a Funfetti cake mix instead of a plain white cake mix forgo adding the extra sprinkles. Win!
Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake them for 9-10 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Cool the cookies for a bit on the baking sheet and then transfer them to a wire rack.

Simple Cake Cookie
Ingredients
- 1 box white cake mix
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup water
- ¼ cup oil
- 2 tablespoons rainbow sprinkles (oblong kind)
Instructions
- Mix everything in a stand mixer or medium bowl. The dough will be tacky and thick. If you prefer a thin cookie you can add a tablespoon or more water.
- Place a dollop of cookie dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper 2 inches apart. Bake at 350°F for 9-10 minutes or until the tops are slighty browning.
- Cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet and then transfer to a wire rack. Cool and enjoy!!
