How to Make an Easy Ham and Cheese Roll Up
These Ham and Cheese Ranch Roll Ups are so tasty and disappear fast! For larger parties with over 10 adults, I would double this recipe.
Ingredients for Roll Ups
- 2 – 8 ounce blocks of cream cheese, softened
- 1 packet of Ranch Seasoning
- 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 3/4 cup of sliced deli ham, chopped
- We prefer to use Buddig Honey Ham.
- 1/2 cup of green onions, chopped
- 5 extra-large, 10-inch, flour tortilla
Directions for Roll Ups
First, cream together the softened cream cheese and ranch seasoning packet. Then stir in the shredded cheddar cheese.
Next, take 1/5 of the cream cheese mixture and evenly spread it edge to edge on one of the flour tortillas. Repeat for all the tortillas. Tip: Using an icing knife works great for spreading out the cream cheese. Then sprinkle an even amount of chopped ham and green onion on top of each tortilla.
Now roll up each tortilla tightly and place it seam-side down in a 9×13-inch Tupperware container. (You can also tightly saran wrap each tortilla if you don’t have a large Tupperware container. I just prefer not to waste saran wrap.) Cover and refrigerate the tortillas for at least 1-2 hours(or overnight).
Lastly, remove the chilled tortillas from the refrigerator, cut about 1 1/2 inches from each end, and then cut the remaining roll into 3/4-inch sections. Each tortilla will yield about 7-8 roll ups. Pile them up and serve these tortilla roll ups chilled. Enjoy!
Store leftover roll ups in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Can Ham and Cheese Ranch Roll Ups be made ahead of time?
Yep. That’s another thing that makes these ham and cheese roll ups amazing! They can be made up the day before the party and chill overnight. However, it’s best to serve them within 24 hours as the tortilla starts to get soft and retain moisture from the other ingredients. This doesn’t affect the taste though.
